One Ring:Suncoast Society

Fortunately, Mel’s parents, upon learning they were going to be grandparents, decided Mike was full of shit, their daughter looked happier than they’d ever remembered seeing her, and so what if she was living with two guys?

Grandbaby trumped alternative lifestyle, in their mind.

The men’s parents had pretty much decided the same thing, and had opted to not ask too many questions.

Mel reached out, took Carl’s hand, and pressed it over Don’s.

The men laced fingers, her hand on top of theirs.

“Love you guys,” she said. “Thank you for doing this for me today.” She squeezed their hands.

“Yeah, well, kissing him wasn’t as good as kissing you, but it wasn’t the worst thing in the world,” Don said.

“Ditto,” Carl added. “And I guess I can honestly say I love him.”

Don let out an exaggerated sigh. “Okay, fine. I love you, too, dude.”

She giggled. “And I love both of you. Now that wasn’t so hard, was it?”

“No, but you keep talking, you might get one or both of us hard again,” Carl warned.

“Oh, I wouldn’t want that,” she teased.

“Smart-assed slave,” Don playfully grumbled.

“Yeah,” Carl said, “but I wouldn’t want her any other way.”
